Nicole Kolacz, Chief Nursing Officer | Aultman Hospital

“Participating in the Eradicating Bullying & Incivility program has been a transformative experience for me as a newer manager. The education provided was spot on, offering clear insights into what a healthy work environment truly looks like. The support and organization from the Healthy Workforce team was exceptional and you can tell they are really invested in what they are doing. This program has empowered me to recognize the critical differences between incivility and bullying. It gave me the confidence to engage in some of the most challenging conversations with our staff, fostering a culture of openness and respect. I wholeheartedly recommend this program to anyone looking to make a positive impact in their workplace.”

Blake Henderson MBA, BSN, RN | Clinical Nurse Manager Emergency Department | Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital

“This program has empowered our leaders to address disruptive behaviors with confidence. Previously, some issues were left unchecked, but now, our leaders initiate honest conversations driving real change. They have gained the tools they need and the skills and courage to use them effectively—and the results are remarkable.”

Amanda Miller, DNP, RN, NEA-BC | Senior Director, Critical Care | Tower Health

“I learned so much and have been implementing everything from the [EBI] program. I used the Jeti mind trick and although it was scary to do, it worked! I felt so satisfied after several difficult conversations and staff are stating that they are seeing changes in the behavior of people I have been working with. This is definitely something that all new managers should be taught right from the beginning.”

Laura Berritto, RNC, MHA Nurse Manager, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit | Santa Clara Valley Medical Center

“Throughout the last couple of years, we were seeing a lot of turnover. When we were doing exit interviews and figuring out why, I was hearing a lot of words like gossip, bullying, cliques, some of those big words. I knew it was a problem and I knew the culture really needed to be addressed, but I had no idea how to do it. I was only one person. The Eradicating Bullying & Incivility program really helped me drive what I really wanted to do with my culture.”

Jordan Snook, Nurse Manager, Behavioral Health Services | UnityPoint Health

“Human behavior is complex and different approaches are needed to address the root causes of negative behavior in the workplace. Renee educates and provides specific tactics to arm leaders with the tools needed to support a healthy work environment but also to support the leader him/herself.”

Anna Schlatter, Vice President, Patient Care | Baylor Scott & White Medical Center

“I recommend this course for it's great content and a subject that needed naming and strategies for improvement. The course is based on much evidence and has practical strategies to take away and use.”

Lilyan Cohen, Director of Patient Care Services, Division of Critical Care | University Hospital

“This course is so helpful and meaningful. I have been a nursing leader a very long time and this course has validated some things, provided new insights into others. The content in dealing/working with people can also be used to having healthy relationships not just in the workplace.”

Neva LaFleur, RN, MN, Manager of Trauma Services & Child Protection Team | Peace Health
